Loncin Being Awarded China Top 500 Enterprises in Consecutive 12 Years

Recently, China Enterprise Confederation and China Enterprise Directors Association published list of 2013 China Top-500 Enterprises in Kunming.13 companies of Chongqing were among the list, in which Loncin ranked 457, up 20 rankings compared with that in 2012. It was awarded China Top-500 Enterprises in consecutive 12 years, becoming Chongqing’s only private-owned enterprise that had been continuously among the list.

The released list showed in 2013 finalist threshold value for China Top 500 Enterprises reached RMB19.867 billion, an increase of 13.48% over the previous year. Loncin ranked 457, a steady rise in rankings compared to last year, which showed a good situation of its diversified development. Now 12 years have passed since China Enterprise Confederation and China Enterprise Directors Association officially sponsored and launched the ratings of China Top-500 Enterprises in 2001. Since the first time of such ratings, Loncin has been selecting in this important list known as "barometer" of China’s economy for consecutive 12 years.

At the conference of China Top-500 Enterprises, Top-500 Manufacturing Enterprises of China were also announced in the same period. Among them 14 companies of Chongqing were short-listed, in which Loncin ranked 241, 15 up in rankings over the previous year, ranking first in private-owned enterprises of Chongqing.

Continuously strengthened Top-500 enterprises have become the mainstay of the Chinese economy. The overall size of China Top-500 Enterprises continued to grow, making the total revenue of them break through RMB50 trillion, reaching RMB50.02 trillion. This indicates more prominent position and role of the Top-500 enterprises and their role in the national economy. Sum of revenue of these enterprises was equivalent to 96.32% of GDP in 2012. The total tax reached RMB3.65 trillion, an increase of 10.92%, accounting for 36.28% of China's total tax revenue in 2012. Among them, the enterprises each with tax payment over RMB10 billion reached 69.
